Message	Just had my Quaife installed, the reason for the shorter shaft with the quaife is because the quaife is physically bigger and wider than the stock lsd. Also you dont have to buy the Quaife with the shorter shaft as they give you the details and drawings of how to cut the longer shaft down to size. This cost me less for the diff shop to do than a replacement short shaft.
